The Sawdust Days Button Contest will begin on Friday June 1st, 2018

Lucky Button Hunt Rules.

Anyone may participate in the search. The value of the three Sawdust Days buttons will be $100, $200 and $300 CASH !!! Clues will be published daily on the Sawdust Days’ website until it is found. All of the buttons will be hidden on public property only and may be anywhere within the city limits. Nothing needs to be moved, disassembled or damaged to find the button.
The button is NOT hidden at the Oshkosh Public Museum, Lake Shore Golf Course, Paine Art Center or any cemetery. The button will not be hidden in any place where it is dangerous for anyone to look. Instructions will be attached to the button explaining what must be done to claim the prize. Good luck to all!

Oshkosh Sawdust Days

The first annual Sawdust Days (then spelled Sawdust Daze) celebration was held in July of 1972. Events were held throughout the city, including Park Plaza, downtown, UW Oshkosh, along the Fox River and at South, Rainbow and Menominee parks, Activities included water skiing, a flower show, dances, a city breakfast, art fair, boat parade, fireman water fight, merchants dressed in period costumes, an Indian dance, EAA fly over, band concerts and vendor displays.

The Festival Foods 4th of July Fireworks Brought to you by the City of Oshkosh will be shot on Wednesday July 4th at 9:45 PM from Monkey Island in Millers Bay, Menominee Park, Oshkosh, WI.

Veterans Parade

The 4th of July Veteran's Parade is Wednesday, July 4th starting at 9:00 am.
