FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

APPLICATION DEADLINE:  TUESDAY, JUNE 12,  2018

WE MUST RECEIVE A SIGNED ENTRY FORM FROM ALL PARTICIPANTS.

(Applications received after this date will be placed at the end of the line-up.)

We hope that you can join the City of Oshkosh by participating in the Fourth of July Parade.  This parade is the largest in our region, lasts over one hour and attracts over 20,000 people to our community of 55,000.  Food, refreshments and fun are available in Menominee Park after the parade.

Oshkosh Sawdust Days

The first annual Sawdust Days (then spelled Sawdust Daze) celebration was held in July of 1972. Events were held throughout the city, including Park Plaza, downtown, UW Oshkosh, along the Fox River and at South, Rainbow and Menominee parks, Activities included water skiing, a flower show, dances, a city breakfast, art fair, boat parade, fireman water fight, merchants dressed in period costumes, an Indian dance, EAA fly over, band concerts and vendor displays.

The Festival Foods 4th of July Fireworks Brought to you by the City of Oshkosh will be shot on Wednesday July 4th at 9:45 PM from Monkey Island in Millers Bay, Menominee Park, Oshkosh, WI.
