(JUNE 18): The thrust has changed over the years but the remnants have not quite disappeared.
Answer:  Roosevelt was originally a library full of books.

Answer:  There are two backboards that are fan shaped.

Answer:  Roosevelt was the leader of the Calvary group called the Rough Riders.

Answer:  The sign for Roosevelt school has two road runners on it.
